Option 3: DA NANG HALF - DAY TOUR

Tour guide meet you at hotel lobby. Transfer to the Marble Mountain by car. Upon arrival to the mountain, we will climb up the stone stairs and visit the caves and pagodas as well as admire the beautiful panoramic view. We will then head down the mountain and visit the stone village where the skilled local sculptors create many marble products. Then, you will go to Am Phu Cave where there’s a replica of heaven and hell, eerie underground tunnels while listening to the clapping of bats’ wings in the cave. Watch skilled local sculptors create crafts and other products from marble before you head to the Museum of Cham Sculpture. View the most complete collection of rare and valuable items of the Cham culture on display, including 300 sculptures collected from Cham temples and towers throughout central Vietnam. Follow your guide through 10 showrooms as well as an outdoor exhibition space.

 

After making your descent from the mountains, head to Son Tra Peninsula, famous for its white-sand beaches and glittering emerald waters. Here, visit the Linh Ung Pagoda, which is home to the enormous statue of Lady Buddha, or the Goddess of Mercy. Later on, visit Da Nang’s Cham Museum and peruse the world’s largest collection of Cham art and sculptures that date as far back as the 5th century. Learn about the ancient culture and the Champa kingdom before getting back to the hotel. Tour ends.
